The BioTrade Asia Pavilion at BioFach
The BioTrade Asia Pavilion offers Asian exporters a stronger route into BioFach through a shared presence rooted in biodiversity, sustainable sourcing and value-added production. It helps businesses present their products to international buyers while strengthening the visibility of Asia’s biotrade sector in one of the organic industry’s key meeting places.
How Did it All Start?
For over 30 years, ProFound has supported exporters through trade facilitation, market access and sector development. The Organic Africa Pavilion and BioTrade Asia Pavilion build on that experience by turning BioFach into a platform for visibility, buyer access and long-term market positioning.
2014
The Organic Africa Pavilion is Born.
The first Organic Africa Pavilion is created to support honey producers from Ethiopia in gaining access to international markets through BioFach.
2017
The Pavilion Expands.
Fifteen suppliers from Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mozambique and Zimbabwe exhibit their high-quality products: from exciting and innovative products such as baobab,

A Record Year For The OAP
Twenty-two exhibitors join the largest Organic Africa Pavilion to date and meet with almost 1,100 business leads.
2021
The BioTrade Asia Pavilion is Launched
The BioTrade Asia Pavilion is introduced to increase visibility for sustainable Southeast Asian products and connect exporters with international buyers.
2024
ProFound Broadens the Conversation.
The Organic Africa Pavilion continues to grow as a recognised platform for African exporters, helping businesses gain visibility at BioFach while also strengthening the profile of the countries and sectors they represent.
2026
Continuous Growth.
In 2026, the Organic Africa Pavilion takes a step forward with a refreshed design and the introduction of the Flavours Bar, creating a more inviting space to showcase products, spark conversations and bring Africa’s organic offer to life.
