After participating in digital trade fairs, we were happy to meet again in Nuremberg, Germany, for Biofach 2022. From 25-28 July, ProFound hosted the Organic Africa Pavilion and the BioTrade Asia Pavilion. At these pavilions 14 co-exhibitors met with roughly 700 trade fair visitors.
We were happy to have the chance to meet everyone face to face again. As one of our co-exhibitors mentioned, the fair was ‘The perfect opportunity for visiting professionals to meet organic producers from the organic market and be inspired by the sector’s latest trends.’ Another co-exhibitor congratulated us as our pavilions were well-organised and inspiring as ever. As ProFound organises every aspect of the trade fair participation, it makes it easy for our co-exhibitors to focus on their pitches and products.
This year we hosted co-exhibitors from 8 countries, including Ethiopia, Mozambique, Botswana, Laos, and Myanmar. They presented a wide range of organic products, such as baobab powder, beans and pulses, green and black tea, marula oil and honey.

Daily coffee ceremony
Back by popular demand was an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, organized by Nuremberg Ethiopian Diaspora at the Organic Africa Pavilion. Our co-exhibitors CEPIBA and VALUDO from Sao Tomé and Principe organized a presentation and tasting to showcase their country and products. The companies produce honey syrup, cacao drink, and coffee.
