In this article, we want to introduce you to Ethio Gabana, producers of specialty coffee. Ethio Gabana will be co-exhibiting at the Organic Africa Pavilion at BioFach 2022. BioFach will take place in Nuremberg Germany from the 26nd to the 29th of July this year.
About Ethio Gabana
Ethio Gabana is a specialty coffee exporter. The company was established in 2019 by people that has a long line of history in the coffee industry .Ethio Gabana has the goal of providing premium quality coffee beans to customers all over the world while also sharing the value with the farmers. Gabana is named after Gabana Mountain (Gabana, Monte Gabano), which is located near Dera Gebano village and rises 2,175 meters above sea level.
Ethio Gabana sources its coffee from thousands of farmers around their network of 9 washing stations and uses 34 vertically integrated suppliers to source traceable, quality and certified coffee.
Their coffee origin covers Oromia region: Guji zone (Shakiso, Berbersa, kercha, Bulehora, and, Abaya) Arsi zone (Nensbo, kelem, western Wollega zone and Limu area) and From SNNPR region: Gedeo zone (Wonago, Yirgacheffe, Gedebe, Kochore and Amaro woreda) & Sidamo Region (Benesa, Aroresa, Chere Alta wondo, and Dara worda). Ehtio Gabana’s dream is to share the taste and tradition of the Ethiopian coffee while sharing the value with the people that grows it. Only two years ago, Ethio Gabana won the AFCA test of harvest 2019/2020 competition.
Ethio Gabana sources specialty coffee from the finest growing regions in Ethiopia. They source traceable, quality, and certified coffee from thousands of farmers in the vicinity. Within just the first two years of their establishment, the company has shown an outstanding performance and has been placed on the top 15th coffee exporters from Ethiopia.
The company has the aim of sharing Ethiopia’s coffee with the rest of the world while sharing the value with the people who grows it . Ethio-Gabana has also widen its scope to other sectors such as food processing, PP bag manufacturing and Roasted coffee.
