During Vitafoods 2017, ProFound supported seven exporters from South Africa and Pakistan at the CBI stand. We helped the exhibitors launch their products on the global health and nutraceutical ingredients market. The trade fair in Geneva was a success, the companies made 280 new business contacts. They have many potential leads to pursue.
ProFound supported the exhibitors in presenting their products and company attractively and professionally. We linked them to buyers from Europe and beyond. Trade fair support and B2B Matchmaking are some of our activities covered by our market entry solution. The seven companies were well prepared to take advantage of the ongoing trend for sustainably produced, healthy ingredients. At the fair, they could reap the benefits of their work on CSR, certification and product development.
ProFound experts Robbie Hogervorst and Bert-Jan Ottens also set out action plans with the companies. Using these plans, the exporters can further extend their product range of sustainably sourced ingredients in the run-up to Vitafoods 2018 by using our tools, such as our total compliance tool: the NI-CheckApp.
The seven companies are all participants in CBI export promotion programmes. At the trade fair Vitafoods in Switzerland, they presented a wide range of ingredients from marine, cultivated and wild-collected sources. Our Pakistani exhibitors offered herbal extracts, mother tinctures and dried fruits. From South Africa, the companies brought products based on moringa, grape and flax seed, seaweed, healthy vegetables, baobab and wild-harvested medicinal plants.
