Linking organic Vietnamese suppliers to the EU market

Vietpepper – Spices
Vietpepper offers Vietnamese high-quality spices to local, regional and international markets. Pepper has been Vietpepper’s main product since its foundation in 2012 and is marketed under its own brand or manufactured for private labels.
Vietpepper’s farm is located in Gia Lai province. This area is ideal for pepper trees that yield peppercorn’s with wonderful aroma and taste. The soil in this region is fertile, rich in organic minerals and porous with especially good drainage. Vietpepper’s factory is located in the heart of Vietnam’s biggest material zones and the company is self-reliant for its resources.
Vietpepper works closely with its farmers and gives them a fair price for their quality product. The farmers are also trained on the use of sustainable production methods.
Vietpepper is committed to supply pepper which meets international standards, while eliminating middlemen to fully control the quality of the pepper from the farm to the market.
Vinasamex produces and processes star aniseed and cinnamon. Established in 2012, the company has a leading position in the export of these spices to the European market. Organic spices account for 60% of Vinasamex’ sales.
Vinasamex sources its raw materials from cooperatives in the Yen Bai and Lang Son Province. These Northern mountainous regions are famous to produce a wide variety of high-quality star aniseed and cinnamon.
Vinasamx invests in long-term trade relationships with its farmers. The company is dedicated to grow its organic production and promote sustainable trade, to preserve biodiversity and improve livelihoods for people in rural areas.
Vinasamex’ products comply with international standards and are processed in modern facilities. Customers from the EU, Northern America and Asia find in Vinasamex a reliable partner.
Luong Quoi is a leading manufacturer and exporters of premium coconut products produced in the largest coconut area in Vietnam. The company has exported its products to more than 50 countries since its establishment in 1997. The company has its own brand ”Vietcoco” and offers private label manufacturing.
Luong Quoi sources its fresh and high-quality raw materials from Ben Tre Province, located at the end of the Mekong Delta. Luong Quoi’s products are processed and packaged in its own factory using modern equipment.
An organic coconut plantation was established in 2011 of over 6,600 hectares to contribute to local sustainable development. Luong Quoi is committed to increase the value of coconut trees and reinvest profits into employees’ communities, education and housing.

Hagimex is a premium producer of canned vegetables and spices. Established in 2008, Hagimex is a leading manufacturer exporting its products to over 40 countries.
Hagimex raw materials are grown in the Northern and Central Highland Region. Hagimex is the only company to source organic cinnamon from Saigon Cinnamon land.
Hagimex works together with local organizations and farmers to build sustainable supply chains to enhance workers’ working environment and income. Farmers are trained on farming techniques to improve productivity and quality, as well as maintain soil fertility.
In 2012, the factory in Ha Nam Province was opened. Hagimex has upgraded its facilities according to international food safety and hygiene standards, such as BRC.
DACE is an exporter specializing in the production of organic spices, such as ginger, chili, turmeric, garlic and lemon grass. DACE processes organic spices for export and the domestic market since its foundation in 2013.
The raw materials are sourced from the Ha Quang district in the Cao Bang Province in the far north of Vietnam. DACE owns a modern factory in Hanoi to supply the highest quality products to customers worldwide.
DACE has worked with local farmers, agricultural experts and local authorities to cultivate organic spices and is planning to expand the area under organic cultivation to 500 hectares by 2025. The farmers are offered a fair minimum price and stable income.
An internal quality management system is applied at all stages of the supply cain to ensure compliance with international quality and food safety standards.
