Ethiopian honey value chains become stronger

ProFound and its partners SNV, Enclude and EAB are developing solutions together with processors in Ethiopia to improve the quality of their honey. Some solutions only require strict application of Standard Operating Procedures within the processing facility. Other solutions require intense cooperation with beekeepers. Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation and ProFound collaborated closely on an Export Potential Assessment (EPA) in the Regional BioTrade project in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar). In-cosmetics is the world’s most important trade fair for cosmetic ingredients and the place to pick up on the latest trends in cosmetics. Adding value to rice products in Pakistan and Cambodia

Pakistan and Cambodia are among the largest rice producers in the world. They are already some of the biggest suppliers to Europe with brown and milled rice. However, their industries for value added rice products lag behind global competitors.
